Julette Millien has been in the business of managing, developing and training people for more than 30 years, graduating from Syracuse University with degrees in Psychology and International Affairs.

She is certified by Achieve Global, Zenger-Miller and Global Novations as a corporate trainer; master trainer from Achieve Global and Zenger Miller.  Julette is also certified by The New York Institute of Aromatherapy as an Aromatherapist.

She has served in education, entertainment, hospitality, health care, retail and other service industries in the United States, Europe and the Caribbean including long-term training consultancies at NYU and Columbia University. Julette has also co-authored three books centered on personal development and has written extensively on habit creation/mindset mastery, achieving goals and personal excellence.

Her most recent book, BOLD Goals: How to Plan and Live the Balanced and Joyous Life of Your Dreams was an Amazon #1 Bestseller. It is a workbook, designed to take you step by step past SMART goals to creating and living the life of your dreams.

She has worked with Fortune 50 corporations as well as individual entrepreneurs, artists, managers and executives.

Julette’s work is centered on empowering individuals to live their best possible life, in a balanced and joyful way.   This is achieved by helping them to create powerful success habits, mastering their mindset and, finding creative ways to go beyond the ordinary to live a life of joyful productivity and service. Self-discipline, forgiveness, organization, communication and accountability are five of the personal habits/mindsets that are foundational in her coaching work, and in her life.

Her work is done through consultations, workshops, seminars and individual coaching sessions.   Corporate/organization work includes creating and delivering comprehensive orientation programs and training initiatives in vision/mission alignment, customer service, supervisory/management development and communication skills.  Ms. Millien has held a variety of operations management positions in the hospitality and retail industries. This management experience adds a certain level of credibility and depth of knowledge to the training programs she develops.

As an executive coach, Julette helps her clients with their personal/professional development; presentation skills, management functions and leadership skills.

She is co-founder of Agapē Community Development Foundation, a volunteer based organization which offers deeply discounted workshops and consultations to non-profit organizations.

Why is she passionate about the “21 Days of Taking Action” model?

Back when I was struggling to find the tools and strategies that would make a real difference in my business and in my life,  my research led me to the work of Dr. Maxwell Maltz, a plastic surgeon turned cognitive psychologist.  Dr. Maltz was first a plastic surgeon and he determined through his work in the 1960’s with patients, that it took about 21 days for a person to feel differently and have an improved self-image.

The physical changes he made for them created little to no difference in their self-image, if it wasn’t attached to intentional work on changing their self-image and mindset.  If they came into his office thinking their nose was huge (and in many cases it objectively was not, but they believed it was!) and he reduced the size, they still saw in the mirror a reflection of the image in their mind; NOT what was actually there.  This fascinated him and so he began his revolutionary work and research in an individual’s self-image creation.  His findings and first hand experiences are captured in his classic book Pscho-Cybernics.

Based on this research, over the years I developed many indispensable tools to help me reach my personal and professional goals. I created (and tested) strategy after strategy after strategy. Some things worked, most things did not. I “wasted” (not really a waste when the lessons learned are considered) untold time trying to figure it all out…something I can help you avoid.

I’ve battled many personal “demons” that travelled with me from my childhood – abuse, bullying and more. Changing my mindset was not easy. But with the help of this ground-breaking work by Dr. Maltz, loved ones and my faith, I created tools to help me and my clients grow and blossom into our best selves.
